This is a great example of why kids are acting they way they are today. Parents who let their children get away with that kind of behavior, parents in positions of authority who think their kids should be able to get away with it because of who they are. I have heard that this kind of corruption has been going on for years within the city police department. Someone just grew a pair. Hope they get bigger and weed out the other corrupt and ignorant cops. It sure gives the rest of them a bad reputation and that's very sad.

Another case in Steubenville where cover-ups and attempted "cover-ups" are common. Maybe more cops, parents, coaches and pols should be investigated. OOPS! How can they investigate themselves?????

Police depts have to police themselves as well and this guy has been festering in a trouble department for years. Cops are all too often reluctant to speak out on their co-workers misconduct and seem to not realize that we are not talking about guys who load trucks, these are the people who we pay to protect us and to guarantee equal protection under the law. He was caught acting like in idiot in 2009, he got no better. Where was the SPD supervisors while this guy was working for them? Looking the other way, honoring some illegal stupid code that allows fellow cops to be break laws, while honest cops are trying to enforce them. SPD has to lead the city, not shame it.

Good Call is right. This behavior should never be tolerated from an officer.

Yes I was one of the unpopular parents that did not allow and while kids had several parties, I patrolled and was most certain it did not happen. I am not my kids friend. Sad that kids expect this as other parents are much more fun.

that's what is wrong with the judicial system today. Laws are fine. Unequal enforcement of the laws is not fine and money should never enter into the fact as to whether or not some one is guilty. GOOD CALL.
