Did they ever think that the dip us bit competition from area states but instead people are wising up. WV Gamblers hotline is overwhelmed with calls, provides free counseling, weekend counseling retreats for gamblers and families, GA meetings, and people are becoming wiser. I know several who have given it up with the help of agencies.

While the govt depends on this income, they do not mention that crime is related to gambling as it is any drug. Gambling changes the brains chemistry. High population among lonely women. Lives ruined. Class action suit should be allowed-then shut em down.

First pensions were cut or lost in many industries such as the steel industry in the past and no one thought it might happen to government pension. Better watch what happens in Detroit because they will be setting the standards for giving up pensions and pay.

I've always been amazed that you could actually find enough gullible people willing to throw their money away!

Perhaps Obama will come to their rescue!

Surely there's a government grant available to bail out casinos!

Perhaps Obama will give welfare recipients a $500 dollar a month gambling benefit added to their food stamp cards!
