Yesterday when the sky was bright there were numerous cars traveling up and down my street. Then late last night, when it was completely dark, there were no cars moving on my street for several hours. Then today lots of cars are moving again and everything is bright again.

And yet the wheeldogs of the world insist that the brightness of the sky is not attributable in any way to the traffic on my street.

Some people just don’t understand the difference between correlation and causation.

"The first decade of the 21st century was the warmest decade on record and yielded some of the most extreme weather events – drought, floods, heat waves, intense rain and snowfall – on record in various regions of the world, according to an overview of the last decade produced by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO)." We might as well note as well that, since Coal can be, and is in other nations being, efficiently and profitably converted into liquid hydrocarbon fuels, West Virginia has it's own technology for doing so, in ways that are more sustainable, extend our Coal resource, and recycle Carbon. On May 28 of this year, West Virginia University was awarded: "United States Patent 8,449,632 - Sewage Material in Coal Liquefaction", a process invented by WVU Professor Alfred H. Stiller, and, in which Coal can be combined with stuff like sewage treatment plant sludge and vegetable oil, with all of them being converted into a substitute crude petroleum quite suitable as feedstock for a conventional oil refinery.

Maybe we’re not being told because none of those magical processes work commercially at break-even or better.

Or maybe we’re not being told because the big energy companies prefer drama to profit. It’s just a gigantic drama queen conspiracy. Derrr.....

In "United States Patent 8,461,215 - Rendering Coal As An Environmentally Carbon Dioxide Neutral Fuel And A Regenerative Carbon Source", issued just this past June 11, 2013, and assigned to the University of Southern California, our US Government confirms, that, by consuming Carbon Dioxide in the synthesis of liquid hydrocarbon fuels, as, for just one example, disclosed by "United States Patent 8,436,457 - Synthesis of Hydrocarbons Via Catalytic Reduction of CO2', issued just this past May 7, 2013, and assigned to the The United States of America, as represented by the Secretary of the Navy, we can, in essence, eliminate the emissions of Carbon Dioxide from our Coal-fired power plants - and, stick a thumb in OPEC's eye while we do so. We just, for whatever suspect reasons, are not being told.
