So what would cause "normal" youths to decide that to solve a simple rivalry you murder the person? No guns involved, its about the culture that we allow corporate America to push upon our kids. Now I am sure liberals have perked up and want to join in bashing business, but I mean the entertainment industry who has sold America an incredibly violent culture for decades in movies, TV, music and games. Big feeling left wing entertainers have made fortunes selling movie tickets to young people to witness them kill (with guns) scads of people. Most loved stars only make movies with mindless, violence as the theme. The usual retort is that its art and it does not persuade people to act. Why then do celebs make millions endorsing products if they are not going to be imitated in using the product? Cold blooded murder is part of the American youth culture and they are fed it everyday by movies/tv/games/art. Easier to say its about the guns they use.
