Kind of like drilling of oil, shale gas, mountain top removal for coal, & nuclear plants. Do it, we want it, just not near where I live.

build them and export until nobody else wants them.unless we secure our borders with them.we can't even keep known terrorist's out of here let alone worry about a ground war.they'd be nice police cars for steubenville.

Tanks are pretty much obsolete. But-- They cost a bundle and that is what the gov wants. Spend-spend-spend.

Those Abrahms Battle Tanks; what the good folks of Lima, Ohio and their congressional representative call good paying jobs, that other congressional district in another state might call it a pork barrel project--private sector jobs subsidized by the Federal Government. Lots of luck, really lots of luck for this national government, under any political party, to have the will to end these expensive, unnecessary weapons, for the military, that are the leftovers from those "spend til you drop military budgets of "The Cold War" era.
