@negativeneollioe: You know not of which you speak. I hope the man does a good job and I wish him only the best. This is an appropriate story but I would have put it on the op-Ed page or held it for a Sunday feature. My question was of the continued two newspapers in Wheeling which do nothing to contribute to the betterment of our beloved Valley. Your comments alone should warrant a thorough investigation by this paper, but it won't happen.

Hefner - you barely have lived in this valley. You know nothing about it.

I have to give Hince some credit for applying for the job. During the first two years he will deal with little else other than the many lawsuits filed against the school system, and the suits the district will have to file against the project management company and the design firm connected with the Cameron disaster.

That's not to mention the problems with truancy, the levy rate controversy, the bullying issues, the test results, and horrible morale within the workforce.

Above-the-fold stuff for sure.

It is likely that former Delegate Scott Varner is looking at the County Commission seat now held by Shambaugh.

Perhaps local school systems should focus more on educating the children instead of creating layer after layer of un-needed payroll!

By the superintendent's own admission, more than 85 percent of the levy is spent on PAYROLL!!!

How about spending 85 percent on the CHILDREN instead!!

It is rediculous to maintain these MASSIVE salaries and MASSIVE payrolls!!!

They do NOTHING to educate the child!

This is not the stuff of above the fold news. I wonder how long it will be before this paper goes to one, three times a week, issue?
