OSM, agree. GOP lost because they did NOT turn out their base with Moderate Romney.
If Romney got the same votes as McCain, he would have been president.
Jeb is talking about tax increases just like a {bleeping} Demorat. He is WORSE than his brother, married a Hispanic and fancies himself as the great Immigration expert.

JUST ONCE I want to see some talking head clobber a regime shill with this headline. Demand they come up with an actual number or percentage, not this handwaving crap.

I have no intention of supporting Jeb. Nice guy, but he's another wishy washy go along to get along middle of the roader. I'm looking for another Reagan. Problem is, the only one I see is Herman, and he disqualified himself by not crucifying the smear campaigners that got him. If he doesn't want it enough to really fight for it, time to move on.
Walker might have been a good prospect, but he's sliding into the obiecare abyss.

Income inequality will continue to rise under Obama as the majority of those millions of jobs added are low paying service positions. From CNN Money, 'Mid-wage occupations such as office managers and truck drivers accounted for 60% of the job losses during the recession, but only 22% of the gains during the recovery, according to a National Employment Law Project analysis of Labor Department data. Low-wage positions, on the other hand, soared 58%."

it ain't how much taxes you pay. it is how much you can avoid paying taxes on. If youi pay me the amount I would be taxed after our transaction and I simply hand your extra charge to the tax man for my bill, I paid nothing and you paid my tax bill.that is the fact of business.

@thetruthforonce,
Here's another line from the NYT article you cited, "The Federal Reserve has also played a crucial role in propelling the stock market higher, economists and strategists say, even if that was not the intent of policy makers. The Fed has made reducing unemployment a top priority, but in practice its policy of keeping rates very low and buying up the safest assets to stimulate the economy means investors are willing to take on more risk in search of better returns, hence the buoyancy on Wall Street amid the austerity in Washington and gloom on Main Street."
The administrations fiscal while good for the investors class has been tragic for the average American. Especially the elderly and the poor! Income equality has risen greatly under Obama!

Average middle class income dropped $4200 in Obama's 4 years.
About 24 MILLION new Food stamp receipients in 4 years.
After tax income dropped the largest amount in 20 years in Jan 2013.
Unemployment a chronic 8% that is really 14.4% using the same metrics as Bush Bush.
Sounds like Utter Obama_damnation to me!

Clue? "The democrats could run SATAN against Jeb Bush and the GOP will still lose the popular vote."
And what does that tell you about your preception of the moral decay of this country?
I pray you are not one of those that have sold your soul to satan.

To you liberals (progressives) who can put two sentences together - Question: What became of the people YOU went to school with, who were do-nothing, day-dreaming, partying, stoners? They were lots of fun, but did you ever imagine or want them to decide the future of your family, your bank account, your healthcare, your country? I guess so, since the most likable stoner, bottom of the academic barrel is in charge. Ugh!

Aid to Egypt started in 1974. Obama was 13 ! Pin your blame somewhere else. then the question must be. If he'd had a pen and the US bank book when he was 13, would he have alsogiven Egypt the money then.

We have a President who admittedly spent his high-school years in a stoned daze, admittedly smoked a lot of dope and drank a lot of booze in college, and refuses to release his college transcripts. Yet brilliant at economics and other trivial matters. Umm, umm, umm.

(CNSNews.vcom) – Federal revenue will return to its pre-recession levels in 2013, according to projections from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), setting a record for the most money the government has ever taken in.
In its latest Budget and Economic Update, the CBO forecasts that federal revenue will top $2.7 trillion in 2013, slightly higher than the $2.6 trillion the government collected in 2007, when the last recession officially began.
So WTF do they need with MORE taxes??
More BOOZE for an Alcoholic cures Alcoholism??
More drugs cure an addict??
