Great news! Very important to keep improving the airport. Never let it backslide. The day is coming when it will really get busy.

WTF FOR??? More WASTED taxpayer money.
Are there ANY commercial flights out of there today? WILL there be any?
A few gas executives can fly in on PRIVATE CORPORATE JET but for the average folk this doesn't mean SQUAT!

Four years! Seems like one year would have been adequate.
Whatever, longer runways are the key to safer airports. When I was a kid, and had much less fear than now, I used to fly Cessna 140 and 150 aircraft out of Morgantown and that was scary enough with runways that dropped off to deep cliffs. I stayed clear of Wheeling's airport except to play the pin ball machine in the terminal.

The Airport is an absolute gem for an assembly operation ;perhaps DOD.Underused and perfectly equipped for training;Plus plenty of development space with utilities and parking
