1976? Was that the year Ford passed the baton to Carter? The last time gasoline was under 80-cents a gallon and a cup of coffee cost a quarter?

Three years later, in 1979, US debacle in Iran, gasoline prices under Carter doubled.
Fast forward thirty years to 2009, US debacles in Iran, Egypt, Libya,... gasoline prices under Obama doubled.
Maybe Barry Ocarter needs to start wearing more cardigans...

Its the modern way of computing results, the political way. We don't fail students and give them a high school diploma for not work. School administrators and social scientists have created a new way to give away a meaningless diploma and then they and politicians tell us that its oh so successful. But there are high school grads who cannot read, cannot write, have no jobs skills other than stacking boxes and we are supposed to be happy. Ask a teacher how much pressure is on them to pass students who do not bother to even try.

Troll, you never miss a chance to show how poorly informed you are, do you?
Gasoline went to $4.00+ per gallon in 2007. Who was our fearless leader in 2007? And did he have a Texan accent? And did he have an IQ of 92? And wasn't he just a bit lacking in oratory skills? And didn't he display latent retardation anomalies? He was your man, not mine. Give me an educated President every time.

Triton, there's a lot of truth to your comments. I do not fault you or contest anything you say here. High school was not a great experience for me, but the eleven semesters of college was phenomenal. Praise was lavish. Rewards were earned and unexpected scholarships were awarded, which helped pay for more classes. I loved it.

Obama is an educated President? Let's see those transcripts. Oh, forgot, they're sealed. Must be pretty embarrassing. LOL
