AP - Never posting before, I have to reply to your second and third comments. I can only assume that you do not understand hockey, nor follow the game. Please remember that one idiot does not make a sport.

First, some of the best young players in the area are GIRLS. Female players are the fastest growing segment in the United States. So much for the testosterone, alcohol and adults argument.

If your commentary is regarding professional hockey, I assume that you are not a sports fan. There are far fewer problems with player behavior, both on and off the ice, with professional hockey as compared with the big 3 professional sports.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion, but the facts speak for themselves.

If Veilleux doesn't have the self-control to quell his prejudice in public...he should be gone forever.

Secondly, hockey itself is a bad influence on our children and the idea of being a "good sport".

Hockey is a mix of testosterone, alcohol, and adults who never grew up.
