WHEELING - The playbook is set, the equipment is ready, the players are eager to take the field and the decades-old rivalries are ready to be renewed. It's time for Ohio Valley football. As the season is ushered in, seven top Ohio Valley programs will have a new feel this season as seven new head coaches join the ranks. Mark Asher (East Liverpool), Tom Bruney (Brooke), Chris Daugherty (Wheeling Park), Jose Davis (Bellaire), Mark Holenka (Shadyside), Ty Sichina (Buckeye Trail) and Tom Taylor (Weir) will try to leave their mark on the programs and their fanbases.
