It was Oct. 11, 1998, when I joined the Wheeling newspapers as design editor. Prior to coming here, I worked at The Times Leader for 18 1/2 years — as a reporter, St. C bureau chief, lifestyles editor and finally as managing editor. Here in Wheeling, I am responsible for TGIF, designing the Sunday travel pages, looking over the shoulders of the copy desk and Arts & Living Dept., as well as writing a column in Ohio Valley Parent.
