Palin's eyewear

The buzz about vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's fashionable eyeglasses has hit the Wheeling area. A local optomotrist reports that three customers have asked for the Palin look alike eyeglasses. Not since Jackie O's signature, large round sunglasses has a political celebrity caused such a stir over eyewear. Personally, those dark glasses of Jackie's second husband were also charming .. NOT! It's so silly that we dwell on such things when most middle America cannot afford a simple pair of glasses at Walmart. And don't ever believe those special $99 eyeglasses. There is no such thing unless you want coke-bottle lenses in black frames. By the time you add scratch resistance (should be automatic) anti glare, etc. etc.,. you have over $200 in the glasses.
