There have been a number of events in recent weeks that include motorcyclists raising money for Muscular Dystrophy Association. Neidengard's held the largest poker run in the state of Ohio to benefit MDA in recent weeks and Valley Harley in Bethlehem followed suit this past weekend. Hundreds upon hundreds of bikers turned out for a chance to do something good and enjoy the company of fellow bikers on a ride. If you own a motorcycle, chances are you long for the open road with a few buddies alongside. So even though the idiots arrested in Colorado for allegedly making threats toward Barack Obama were mentioned as members of a motorcycle gang, let's not make blanket assumptions about all bikers. When you see men and women riding motorcycles you are looking at plumbers, doctors, business owners, mill workers, firefighters, police officers and many, many more people. Whatever your opinion on riding motorcycles, please think twice about the people in the driver's seat. They are not all like the movies portray.
