May 16, 2008 - Betsy Bethel
Here are some current Emma-isms, a little something to make you smile, to start the weekend off right.

(Wanting to play peek a boo) "Boo me, Mommy!"

(Sweeping the porch with Mom's giant broom) "Look, Daddy, I'm brooming!"

(Hopping on and off a book on the floor) "I'm boinging on the book!"

(Playing with a car) "I'm vrooming!"

(Wanting to be picked up) "I want to hold you!"

(Ready to tackle you) "I'm gonna sack ya!"

Every day, it seems she grows more animated and finds new ways to express herself. Nothing makes my heart soar more than hearing her little voice and her little giggle (and big snorts and guffaws, too!). Listening to her sing what she can of "Jesus Loves the Little Children" ("all the children of the wooo-ooold") and "Home on the Range" makes all my troubles melt away. Thank you God for all the little ones!
