Bullets flying

It's never a good morning when a police officer or any member of the public has to dodge bullets on their way to work or school. But early today the bullets were flying on 14th Street and narrowly missed killing one of Wheeling's finest. It's chilling when you see the size and location of the bullet hole in the cruiser. This was intentional, it seems, and I hope East Wheeling streets will be inundated with police until these thugs are caught. Word on the street is that they aren't locals, that they are hanging out at a known crack house in the area. Whatever the case, let's pray these punks are off the streets soon. Pray, too, for our law enforcement. They are literally under the gun right now and that's just not right.
