The dining experience

Imagine sitting in a very nice restaurant, enjoying a nice glass of wine and a meal, when a dispute arises between the chef and a member of the wait staff. The incident gets physical. What do you do? Well, I for one would walk out of the place and never return. It seems there was just such an incident at a local eatery last night. It's bad enough that the restaurant business is a big risk in any town, but TV doesn't help when they portray the outbursts of "temperamental chefs" as acceptable behavior. I do not know any other industry that allows such a thing. If someone screamed in my face, called me names and threw things at me like they do on those shows I would be filing a police report. Common manners and respect toward one another have been thrown out the door. I for one don't have to put up with it and neither should you.
