Internet nonsense

October 13, 2007 - Heather Ziegler
Received a letter this week from a man in Fort Worth, Texas, who is accusing a Wheeling woman of being a lying, cheating, no-good person. Of course, we will not print the letter because none of those attributes he mentions are a crime unless you are lying to the police or a judge. It seems the fella met the woman online and she, of course, used a fake name and made up a whole bunch of other lies. She and the man seemed to hit it off and he thought they were headed for marriage. Until he found out the truth that she is already married. The worst part is that the woman, according to the man, had a friend email him and say his Internet lover had been killed in a car crash on her way to school where she is an elementary teacher. Another huge lie. I really don't know what can be done about people like this, but let's just say GET A LIFE! If she has so much time on her hands to play games with people's lives on the Internet then maybe she ought to channel her time elsewhere. Maybe she should consider working at the soup kitchen or 18th Street Center. There's a dose of reality, lady.
