When Team U.S.A. goes marching in at the London Olympics next week, maybe they'll create an intimidating site -- wearing French berets crafted in China by Ralph Lauren.
Ew ... on so many levels.
You would think the U.S. Olympic Committee would know where to find a American factory that could crank out high quality uniforms, and that that would be a no-brainer.
My question is where do private individuals go to find American-made clothes?
I looked at my most recent purchases, and see that none of them came from America. That really wasn't surprising.
There are American clothing manufacturers, as I located a website that lists many of them. There need to be more, and their garments need to be readily available for purchase.
Everybody needs clothes -- and it seems a good place to start if we're ever going to start "making it in America" again.
Barack Obama and Mitt Romney -- tell us what you can do to put American-made clothes on people's backs.
